Traffic Defense
Lawyers within the firm represent clients in a wide variety of matters involving both minor and serious traffic offenses. We represent clients at all levels of state courts, including Mayors’ Courts, Municipal Courts, Common Pleas Courts and Appellate Courts regarding traffic offenses. Serious traffic offenses may include driving without an operator’s license, driving under a suspension of a driver’s license, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol, hit-skip, fleeing police and different levels of vehicular manslaughter. We frequently represent individuals charged with such offenses. If you find yourself charged with a serious traffic offense that carries the potential for jail or prison time, a heavy fine and/or a driver’s license suspension, it is strongly recommended that you seek legal counsel as soon as practical after being charged. Certain rights may be waived if they are not exercised soon enough after the original charge has occurred. Opportunities to properly defend a client may be missed if the client does not seek legal counsel promptly. If you or someone you know has been issued a traffic citation, please feel free to contact Barry W. Littrell to ensure that your rights are fully protected.
